The Marvel Comics character Moon Knight is the inspiration for Jeremy Slater’s Disney+ original miniseries of the same name. There have been six Marvel Studios-produced television shows in the MCU that share continuity with the films in the franchise.
Mohamed Diab is the film’s director, with Slater serving as the project’s primary writer.
A guy with dissociative identity disorder (DID) has two alters Marc Spector and Steven Grant. Oscar Isaac plays both of them, along with May Calamawy, Karim El Hakim, Ethan Hawke, Ann Akinjirin, David Ganly, Gaspard Ulliel, Antonia Salib, and Rey Lucas.
It was revealed in August of this year that the show would be coming, and Slater was recruited in November. For the four episodes that were to be directed by Diab in October 2020, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead were engaged to direct the remaining two.
When Isaac was cast, he employed multiple accents to distinguish Spector’s numerous personas. Filming took place in Budapest, Jordan, Slovenia, and Atlanta, Georgia, between April and October of 2021.
After its March 30 debut, Moon Knight will have six episodes airing till May 4, 2022. Phase Four of the MCU includes it. With Isaac and Hawke’s performances and the darker tone compared to other MCU episodes, the series has gotten excellent reviews.
